Ready for Fall

Ready for Fall

Printer Friendly Version

Good Evening,

I hope you enjoyed this last weekend of September.  As we close out this month and enter October we will be approximately half way through the 1st Quarter.  Students are reminded and encouraged to make effective use of their FLEX blocks to support their academic achievement.  Parents are also encouraged and reminded to utilize their Power School Portal access to observe student academic progress and work completion.  Teachers update Powerschool at a minimum of every 10 days.  Please contact the teacher through email if you have any questions or concerns with your students’ academic performance.

Thank you to all the parents and guardians who attended last week's Parent Back to School Night.  We hope it was informative and is helpful to support your students’ academic success.

It will be a busy and fun October with Fall Sports in full action and Club activities; see you around!

Have a great week!  Go Spartans!

Community Mental Health Support / INTERFACE

·  Interface is a free service for Stoneham residents.

·  Anyone who needs an outpatient mental health referral can call the helpline and will be connected with a specialist who will take their contact information and insurance information.

o    Once they have all of this information, they go back to their database to find providers who take their insurance and have appointments available.

o    This can take around 3 weeks, usually it takes around 2 weeks.

o    Once a match is made, they reach back out to the resident with the provider information.

§  It is up to the resident needing appointments to reach out to the provider.

§  If the service does not work out, callers can call again, there is no limit on the number of calls that can be made.

·  This is not a crisis line, only a service for finding providers that match needs.
