Hello,
I hope that you enjoyed your Back to School Night experience this past Thursday. We hope that you came away excited for your students' learning and well informed in their courses so that you can assist in your students' success. Please remember that your powerschool access allows you to monitor academic progress. Teachers will update powerschool at least once every five to ten days. Parents and caregivers should routinely monitor powerschool and engage with their students and students teachers with any questions or concerns.
This week we begin to increase FLEX block movement for students and their ability to request time with their teachers. Students are strongly encouraged to develop weekly routines and habits of meaningful use of FLEX time to complete schoolwork and to address any academic needs. Daily flex provides students with a built-in daily access to teacher support.
Drivers are reminded to adhere to the requested and posted parking and traffic routes. Student drop off and pick up is only to occur in the designated area. Please do not circumvent the planned route by dropping off or picking up in the parking space aisles, this only causes further back up and congestion. As always drive with extra caution.
Here’s to a good week! Go Spartans.
