Greetings,
I hope that you have had a good weekend and are in good spirits in the midst of this Holiday Season. We have seen an increase in illness from FLU, COVID and other seasonal maladies. Please remember to stay home if feeling unwell or with any Flu or COVID like symptoms. A reminder that free COVID test kits are available (while they last) in the Main Office as well as face masks.
We enter the final full week of classes before next week's shortened week of classes and the start of the Holiday Vacation. This is an important week with regard to the remaining days left in the grading quarter. There are only eighteen more days in the Second Quarter and end of the First Semester. This further breaks down to only nine more class days per class. With this short window in mind students should be active in their use of FLEX to support their academic progress. Students should check Power School consistently, speak with their teachers and utilize FLEX block in a meaningful way to best address any missing work and academic concerns.
This week will also have the rescheduled dates of Drama Club Production of Noises Off as well as the first games for many of our Winter Sport Teams. As always, much going and much to do for our students.
Here’s to a good week. Go Spartans!
Best,
Mr. Lombardi

Fall Drama Club Production: Noises Off
Noises Off ● Fri 12/16 @ 7pm ● Sat 12/17 @ 7pm ● Sun 12/18 @ 2pm Synopsis: This play-within-a-play captures a touring theater troupe’s production of the new play Nothing On in three stages: dress rehearsal, the opening performance, and a performance towards the end of an exhausting run. We are given a window into the inner workings of theater behind the scenes, progressing from flubbed lines and missed cues in the dress rehearsal to growing friction between cast members in the final performance. Brimming with slapstick comedy, Noises Off is a delightful backstage farce, complete with slamming doors, falling trousers, backstage romances and plenty of sardines. Ticket Info ● Adult Tickets: $12 ● Student Tickets: $9 ● Children under 5: $5 |

Student Parking / Winter driving / Student Drop Off & Pick Up
● Student Parking ○ Unfortunately we have reached our student parking capacity, there are no more available student parking spaces. At this time Student Parking is closed for any new drivers. ○ Non-registered drivers are not permitted to park on school grounds and any violators are subject to towing at the cost of the vehicle owner. ● Driving ○ As we enter the Winter months I remind parents and student drivers to be extra cautious and more aware to follow our posted and established parking and driving routes. Winter weather impacts road conditions and visibility and adhering to established routes and expectations will only help in maintaining an efficient and safe traffic process. ● Student Drop Off & Pick Up ○ Please remember that student drop off and pick up is required in the designated Drop Off / Pick Up Area in the lower parking lot. The Drop Off / Pick Up Area consists of white lined marked space before and after the staircase. Please help with traffic flow by having your student exit or enter the car at any time your vehicle is stopped between the lines of the designated Drop Off / Pick Up Area. ■ Student drop off / pick up in the upper parking lot, closest to the school, is not a designated Drop Off / Pick Up Area and is only for those individuals who have a physical necessity. |
