Principal's Message 12/18/22

Happy Holiday and a happy New Year

Happy Holiday and a Happy New Year

PRINTER FRIENDLY VERSION

Good evening,

I hope you have had a good weekend and are enjoying the Holiday Season.  We enter our final week, shortened with no school on Friday, before our Holiday Break.  Despite the excitement and anticipation of the pending vacation, students are reminded that we are also in the final thirteen days of Quarter 2 and the end of Semester 1.

Not counting two early release Fridays there are eleven full period FLEX blocks remaining before we begin midterms and final exams.  Students are encouraged to utilize these opportunities to support a positive and successful completion of the marking period.  There is still plenty of time to address any academic concerns or outstanding work.  Students should speak check PS and speak with their teachers to address any concerns and plan an effective use of FLEX to best support their progress.

It has been a fun and positive first half of the school year with many successes and highlights in the classroom, on the fields and on the stage. I thank our students for their continued efforts to excel to their full potential and for all they bring to SHS.  I thank our parents for your continued support of SHS and your student’s education.  And I thank our teachers and faculty for their continued commitment and dedication to Stoneham High School  and the success of all of our students.

Wishing everyone in the SHS Community a safe, healthy and joyous Holiday Season and  Happy New Year!

Best,

Bryan Lombardi

SHS Chorus / Stoneham Community Senior Holiday Luncheon

The SHS Chorus recently joined with the 1st and 4th grade Girl Scouts from Robin Hood for a musical performance at Stoneham Community Senior Holiday Luncheon.  Their performance certainly helped spread holiday cheer!  A great example of our K-12 system working together and giving back to the Stoneham Community.
